Within REPATRIASI KERAJAAN LOMBOK, the project explores how contemporary visual technology can function as an interpretive layer for cultural heritage. The installation combines video mapping and wall kinetic systems to construct an immersive spatial narrative that recontextualizes historical artefacts within a modern exhibition environment.
Rather than presenting history as a static record, the project treats repatriation as an active process—where memory, space, and motion operate together to re-activate cultural presence.
The visual narrative is structured around the idea of return and continuity. Instead of linear storytelling, the content unfolds in layers—using abstract forms, symbolic motion, and temporal transitions to reflect the historical journey of the Lombok royal heritage.
Slow kinetic shifts represent preservation and reverenceDynamic projection sequences reflect transformation and re-contextualizationThis approach allows audiences to engage with the narrative intuitively, without relying on textual explanation.
